Please note that this position is a part-time appointmentDESCRIPTIONUnder general supervision, positions in this title can be assigned to Inpatient, Outpatient and Home Infusion units within the Pharmacy Department. The Pharmacy Technician, assists the pharmacist in the preparation of medications for patient use (oral and parenteral) according to established procedures; assists in the distribution of medications; performs computer order entry, record keeping, and billing functions; maintains inventory levels; Will perform assigned operational duties in a scheduled area and will assist pharmacists in completing medication orders and related distribution duties in the assigned areas.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
