Pharmacy Technician 2 Fulltime
Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking experienced Pharmacy Technician 2 with to join our Pharmacy team. As a Pharmacy Technician 2, you will procure and distribute medications per physician and Pharmacist requests or prearranged work assignments according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. To help achieve our mission, you will maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies. Demonstrating proficiency in IV admixture procedures including using aseptic technique in preparation of medication, calculations, maintenance of clean areas and complete documentation is of vital importance. Taking ownership for the control, accountability, and distribution of controlled drugs in the Pharmacy is required.
