As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a vital role in our inpatient pharmacy environment, ensuring the safe preparation of medications for children. This position, under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, assists in the procurement, storage, preparation, distribution, and delivery of medications and information and other pharmaceutical products to Phoenix Children’s patients in a timely and accurate fashion and in accordance with established Federal, State, and local laws & regulations and policies and procedures. This position receives direct supervision from Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisors and Managers.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
Experience
- Hospital experience. (Preferred)
- Ability to compound intravenous medications (IV). (Preferred)
Certifications
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Arizona or able to obtain license as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Arizona prior to start date. (Required)
- Nationally Certified PTCB. (Required)
