SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Oncology pharmacy technicians prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist, primarily hazardous chemotherapy infusions and supportive therapy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification
- Minimum One (1) year experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Sterile compounding experience, including hazardous medication compounding.
