Clark College is currently accepting applications for a Part-time Pharmacy Technician Professor. Applicants must be willing to teach during the summer (in addition to other terms) and both online and in person. This Professor is expected to support the institutional mission and goals, foremost being student success and retention. All faculty and staff hired at Clark College are encouraged to embrace, continually support, and enhance diversity and equity on our campus and in our community. Positions will be filled as program needs arise. Lecture rate is $90.47/hour, and the lab rate is $77.27/hour.
This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach the daytime, evening or weekend hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instruct 1-7 contact hours of Pharmacy Tech department courses.
Instructional load may include such classes as:
PHAR 118-119 Pharmacy Externship (performing clinical site visits)
PHAR 112-122 Pharmacology
PHAR 114 Pharmacy Practice and Technology
Other Pharmacy courses as needed.
Other duties include:
Attend departmental meetings.
Ongoing curriculum review/development.
Preparation for ASHP accreditation
Professional development.
Program assessment/review.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensure as a healthcare professional Pharmacist or Certified Pharmacy Technician.
Three (3) years of current experience in pharmacy or healthcare related field.
Reliable transportation (for clinical site visits).
Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally and socio-economic diverse backgrounds.
